341間客房和套房由Bill Rooney Studio設計,擁有明亮通風的感覺,白色和灰色色調、白色橡木家具、紋理織物和每張床上方描繪木蘭的三板石膏浮雕。
Luxury hotel group Four Seasons has opened its latest property in the city of New Orleans.
Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans occupies a modernist compass-shaped tower set on the Mississippi waterfront at the foot of Canal Street, just 20 minutes from both of the city’s airports.
It is situated within walking distance of the historic French Quarter, the Central Business District and the Warehouse Arts District, and has direct access to the city’s streetcar line. Additionally, it is located close to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
The 341 rooms and suites have been designed by Bill Rooney Studio and have a light and airy feel, with a palette of whites and greys, white-washed oak furnishings, textured fabrics and a tri-panel plaster relief depicting the magnolia above each bed.
The hotel features an art collection championing local artists and its 33rd and 34th floors have indoor and outdoor observation decks which house a “state-of-the-art cultural exhibit”. Meanwhile, the hotel has 2,700 sqm of events space.
The hotel has partnered with local chefs for its dining concepts, which aim to celebrate the South. The Chandelier Bar features drinks beneath the namesake 15,000-piece light and glass installation, year-round live music and a garden patio. The lobby level is home to Miss River, a restaurant overseen by acclaimed chef Alon Shaya which includes fresh takes on New Orleans classics amidst indoor-outdoor design by Alexander Waterworth Interiors.
These two dining concepts will be joined in the autumn by Chemin a la Mer (“pathway to the sea”), a restaurant from chef Donald Link which pays homage to his Louisiana heritage and features a menu of steaks and seafood prepared with French cooking techniques. The restaurant will also have a grand oyster bar, and panoramic views of the Mississippi.
The hotel will also open a crescent-shaped rooftop infinity pool, a 24-hour fitness centre by Harley Pasternak and a spa this autumn.
Christian Clerc, President of Global Operations at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, commented:
“New Orleans is a destination that has long been on our wish list. We could not be more excited to introduce Four Seasons to this incredible community, and to share an authentic and memorable New Orleans experience with guests from near and far. The transformation of this truly iconic building is stunning, and serves as a wonderful addition to Four Seasons portfolio of exceptional properties.”
The 34-storey World Trade Center also houses 92 fully-serviced Four Seasons Private Residences, where guests can enjoy access to the same facilities as hotel guests.
