入住當天家人計劃在飯店B3的三燔本家用餐以慶祝媽媽的生日，我就使用美國Chase銀行IHG信用卡每年贈送的免房券訂了台北晶華酒店一晚住宿。這是過去一年內第三次入住台北晶華酒店。
My family planned to celebrate my mother’s birthday at Mihan Honke, the restaurant located in B3 floor of the hotel, so I made a reservation of one night with the Chase Anniversary Night voucher. This was my third stay in Regent Taipei in the past year.
入住前有寫email告知是要慶祝母親生日，飯店迅速回覆說會提供生日蛋糕提領券。在登記入住時，詢問了一下是否有機會升等套房，服務人員就從將我原預訂的豪華客房升等一級為寰宇客房。房間位在該樓層的角落，可看到旁邊的康樂公園和林森公園以及遠處的台北101。
I wrote an email in advance to inform the hotel of the purpose of my stay. The reservation team replied immediately that a cake voucher would be provided. I asked for the possibility of room upgrade to a suite room when I checked in. The receptionist upgraded my room from Deluxe to Premier room. The room locates at the corner, and it has the view of Kangle Park and Linsen Park with Taipei 101 far behind.
不管是用點數或免房券訂房，台北晶華都會贈送兩客早餐，而因為我是IHG洲際大使會員的原因，可額外獲贈一客早餐，亦即總共可三人使用早餐，算是對會員非常慷慨的福利。其他至悅精英會員的福利還包括台幣500元的餐飲折抵額度、上庭酒廊餐飲85折（需掛房帳）、兩張可在上庭酒廊兌換的迎賓飲料券，延遲退房則僅能到下午一點。蛋糕提貨券則必須在當日晚上八點以前在一樓的禮物店領取，這次拿到跟上個月一樣的起司蛋糕。
Breakfast for two guests is offered regardless of point reward night or Chase Anniversary Night. Breakfast for an additional guest is also offered for Ambassador member. That is, total three persons can have the breakfast. I think that is very generous to IHG members. Other benefits for Spire member include food and beverage credit of NT$500, 15% discount in Gallery lounge bar, and two welcome drink vouchers. My late check out can only be extended to 1pm this time. I also received the cake voucher which needs to be redeemed at the Gift Shop on 1st floor before 8pm on the check-in day. The cake was the same cheese cake which I got last month.
整體而言，房間夠大也很舒適，角落窗戶外的景色也很好。這次有在上庭酒廊外帶一些餐點並用迎賓飲料券兌換果汁，退房結帳時從帳單上得知是扣抵500元的餐飲額度後才打85折。台北晶華的服務一直在水準之上，而使用獎勵房或免房訂房更是物超所值。今年還有一張免房券，所以我一定會再次光臨。
Overall, the room is spacious with very nice view from the corner window. I took out some food with the free welcome drink at the Gallery and found out that the 15% discount was applied after deduction of the $500 F&B credit. Regent Taipei always provides excellent service. It is very worth to use reward night or free night voucher. I definitely will come back again since I have one more free night voucher.
